SR-71

This oil painting was done in about 2 hours from reference. It takes me much less time to complete something when i am working directly from a reference or life. I know there is much to be learned by painting from life or reference but generally I do not. I would rather paint from imagination. Faces and the human body absolutely require study in order to get realistic results as do many things; but again, i usually just go off imagination.
